If infiltration is uncontrolled and admits unconditioned air, the results will be undesirable. Controlling this problem increase thermal comfort decrease energy consumption. The aim of paper to assess performance different materials used improve airtightness, which efficiency. This research primarily adopted an experimental approach. A typical residential building in UAE was chosen as a case study. Current airtightness status measured using blower door test infrared technique.
